N-Hance Revolutionary Wood Renewal (Logan, Utah), which operates kiosks within 1,400 Home Depot locations across the U.S., in November launched a site-cured wood floor finishing service dubbed “Light Speed.”
N-Hance has labeled the process a “premium wood refinishing product” that “instantly dries and cures wood surfaces.” In marketing the service, N-Hance compares its UV-cured finish with traditional wood finishes “that can take up to two weeks to dry.” What’s more, N-Hance says Light Speed only costs $1 more per square foot than conventional finish, and that UV-cured finish is the “the most durable finish with the highest wear index and highest scratch resistance.”
