PAMA Appoints Michelle Bockman as Board Member, Sets Working Committees

Chevy Chase, MD (June 29, 2022)The Photopolymer Additive Manufacturing Alliance (PAMA), welcomes  Michelle Bockman, President, STANLEY X, as a new Executive Advisory Board Member. Bockman leads efforts to identify and build new sources of growth and innovation in key areas of Stanley Black & Decker, including internal startup incubation, ecosystem development and company partnerships.

Prior to joining STANLEY X, Bockman was the CEO of 3D Control Systems, a startup in the 3D printing and the SaaS software space. She was also the GM and Global Head of Automotive, 3D Printing and Digital Manufacturing, at HP Inc. Before joining HP, Bockman had a long career at several GE businesses including multiple executive leadership roles in service, supply chain, sales and product development at GE Healthcare and Industrial Solutions, as well as scaling a start-up business at GE Digital. Bockman has also held various positions in engineering, supply chain, service, sales and quality at Dana Corporation and Nikon Inc.  Bockman was named multiple times as one of the most influential women in the Additive Manufacturing industry and won the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, which is the nation’s highest presidential honor for performance excellence.

Bockman holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology, and was recently profiled in the PAMA column in UV+EB Technology Magazine: PAMA Highlights Women in Photopolymer AM.  She joins Vince Anewenter, director of the Rapid Prototyping Consortium at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE); Carl Dekker, President, Met-L-Flo, Inc., as well as David Walker, as Executive Advisory Board members from the additive industry.
