Ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) curing has been recognized as a commercially successful low to zero VOC coating and adhesives technology for over 25 years. However, many misconceptions still exist concerning the safety of the materials and equipment used in UV/EB curing.
UV/EB Health & Safety Guide
As with all chemicals, it is important that the potential health and safety hazards associated with UV/EB process technology be understood and that chemicals and process equipment be handled safely in the workplace. This information is meant to be a guideline for the handling of UV/EB raw materials and processing equipment.
